Majbritte Ulrikkeholm
A concert with Majbritte Ulrikkeholm is a profound experience wrapped in mystery. Lyrics by great poets such as Kahlil Gibran and William Blake, old mantras, talks given by sages on love and life mixed with Majbrittes own poems on silence and sound. All accoimpanied by acoustic guitar, Tibetan bells, Japanese harp, flutes and keyboards - not to forget Majbritte Ulrikkeholm's unique voice that to many is the most important, as it goes far beyond what words can express. A mixture of classic high pitch and deep primordial shamanic sounds - a mixture of gospel, pop and soul - relaxing meditation music and rhytmic grooves - from the roughest shout to the most gentle whisper. 'She expresses it all, so that no one can be left in doubt - the pain, the joy, the desperation and the longing - so impressing that you wonder how one singer can express so many different feelings.' The Danish newspaper 'Jyllands Posten' 'She flings the door wide open, and if you enter, you risk coming out a completely different person.' The Danish newspaper 'BT' Talks and Workshops: For many years Majbritte Ulrikkeholm has been giving talks on spiritual matters. In her book 'The magical Dimention - Creativity and Transformation' Majbritte tells about her teaching. She has helped a lot of people open up to their creativity, and she has realized that creativity is a gate to spirituality. She has found a unique way of guiding people to meet with their True Self to make it possible to express creativity from a free and open mind. She has taught designers from the LEGO Group of Companies, pupils from the Music Conservatory, professional opera singers, and amateurs. She has even tought students from the Danish police force, and several Danish doctors and psykologists have joined her courses in creativity. 'I am not a scientist,' says Majbritte Ulrikkeholm. 'What I teach are simply things that I have experienced. Things that I had to experience because my life did not give me a perfect start. But as I grew older, I realized that what I had to go through in my life was perfect in some sense. I changed all the obstacles into creativity and wisdom, and now I can help other people do the same.' During the talk/workshop it will be possible for the audience to try some of the exercises from the book. Practical details: In Denmark the price for a concert or a one-day workshop would be around 2.000 EUR plus travel expenses.
